(a) Hong Kong students studying in local post-secondary institutions should apply through the Student Affairs Offices / Career Centres of their respective institutions. They are advised to note the deadlines set by the respective institutions. Direct applications from local students will not be considered.
(b) Students studying in non-local post-secondary institutions should be made in the standard application form available at CSB's website (http://www.csb.gov.hk/english/admin/appoint/782.html). Applicants must submit the completed application form together with the following items directly to the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department by email (email title: Application for Summer Intern of Food and Environmental Hygiene Department) to
[email protected] on or before the closing date of application:
(i) a letter of application setting out in detail why the applicant considers himself/herself suitable for the position;
(ii) a full curriculum vitae (CV);
(iii) copy of academic qualification certificates; and
(iv) copy of employment record (if applicable).
Applications not using the prescribed application form for the summer internship programme, or submitted without any one of the required documents, or late submission, will not be processed.
As invitations or notifications will be sent to applicants by email, candidates should provide an accurate email address in their application. Candidates are responsible for checking their emails to ensure that invitation(s) or notification(s) could be duly received.
If no acknowledgement/ confirmation email is received after seven working days from the closing date of application, please contact this department by phone at 2867 5452. Candidates will be invited for selection interviews within six weeks from the closing date of application. Those who are not invited for selection interview may assume their applications unsuccessful.
