Entry Requirements

Candidates should have:
(a) good knowledge on government aviation procurement activities;
(b) good understanding of the government procurement procedures and quotations arrangement procedures;
(c) at least ten years of work experience in a supervisory position in supplies / logistics field;
(d) good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; and
(e) knowledge of common office applications including Word Processing, Excel and Powerpoint.
Remarks
 

Duties

(a) To assist in drafting tender documents or quotation documents;
(b) To assist in carrying out market research and post-tender review;
(c) To coordinate with users and suppliers and follow up matters in delivery arrangement of goods or services supplied to GFS;
(d) To provide support in matters relating to tender and contract administration; and
(e) To perform other duties as assigned.

Terms of Appointment

The successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms on part-time basis for one year. Number of working hours within a week may vary depending on the actual needs. Normally, the successful candidate will be required to work at a schedule arranged by the supervisor subject to a maximum of 17 hours per week.
